        Hi because we have lost some races due to bad weather this year we have decided to run a double race day this sunday the 1st of August. First race starting at 11am and the second starting no earlier than 2 pm. The winner of the first race will win the calliope trophy and the 2nd race for the Mercia

        I must say a big thankyou to all at Amble Boat Company. They have given Honour Bound a new lease of life. They spent many hours on osmosis treatment an then gave Her a very slippy bottom with coppercoat. She slips through the water with the greatest of ease now. And the re painted topsides ! I still

        Many thanks to all friends and members that have been in touch since my
        recent near fatal accident.
        The levels of support to both myself and Lynda during this horror event
        have reinforced the levels of friendship and support experienced within the
        RNYC and its committee and me

        Does anyone know where the hose pipe and reel has gone that lived on the forepeak for the past generation.
        This is used to keep the decks clean and needs to be returned or the expense of replacing it.Answers on a post card or let P Gay or Myself know, if you know where it has gone.

        Weekend of 3/4th July 11 of your intrepid club explorers took part in the annual Lord Birkett Trophy on Lake Ullswater.For those who know not what the event is,it is a celebration marking the successful outcome by Lord Birkett to stop Ullswater becoming a closed reservoir for the north west cities
