Boat Lift Information
The Boat Lift is in operation with a team of volunteer operators, and can be utilised by all members to lift their boats in or out of the water. There is an additional facility of a 'lift & hold' to enable a wash down or damage check.
You will need to contact one of our volunteer hoist operators. They are listed with telephone numbers on a board on the container beside the hoist. We will endeavour to accommodate your requirements. Some lifting requests may not be possible dependent on the availability of our volunteers. The more notice you give, the better your chances!
You need at least 2 crew on board your boat to assist the boat lift team.
RNYC has 2 cradles that are available for short term hire. Should you require one of these cradles please inform the Boat lift driver at the time of arranging the lift. They will then advise on how to book the cradle.
Payment is required within 7 days of the lift. You will be invoiced
by Asst Treasurer (Yacht Dues).
