See also RNYC Contacts and membership subscription rates. Membership of RNYC provides the opportunity to participate in all the activities of a leading yacht club. The house yacht, H.Y. Tyne is the place where members gather together for drinks, meals, meetings, evening classes for RYA shore based courses, dances and parties. In summer, HY Tyne is open every evening, Wednesday lunchtimes and at weekends. There is an active racing programme under the North East Cruiser Racing Association (NERR) measurement handicap. You don' t have to race to enjoy sailing. RNYC supports cruising through its membership of the Conference of Yacht Cruising Clubs (CYCC) and the publication of a volume of sailing directions covering the coast from the River Humber to Rattray Head. |
