RNYC History

History

In Centenary Year 1990, the Commodore, Bruce Grant, wrote an 'official history' of the Club drawn from documentary sources including a previous history written for the 75th anniversary by Noni Garbutt, and from the recollections of members, notably W. Christie, J.C. Clark, R.M. Hardwich, J.A. Mills, and P.Q. Mitchell. The history was published in the Centenary Year Book, and reproduced here in 1998.
