The overall prize for East Coast Sailing Week 2008 was awarded to Blue Tack from Sunderland Yacht Club.

Blyth 35 Race
In addition to the normal East Coast Week racing, there was an additinal race for the sportsboats, on the river Blyth, as part of the Blyth Harbour Festival celebrations. A trophy for the "Blyth 35" race was provided by Blyth Valley council.
